I am sad to announce that you now have to register to post comments.

The spam got too bad. To give you an idea of just how bad it was, as of this post, 447 of 597 (roughly 75%) comments had been spam. This has been going on for around 5 months or so now. My solution up to this point has been to just monitor the comments daily and delete the spam myself, but I didn't like doing that so I did this instead. My reasoning is that most players that want to respond are probably already registered anyway. And I don't credit the spam to any Bots players. It was almost undoubtedly done by someone who has nothing to do with the game who we can only hope suffers a similar fate as this guy.

Anyway, this isn't entirely bad news. You can now see how many comments you've made in your profile, so start post-whoring it up! You can also see all your comments on one page. For example, here is mine. And legacy comments will still appear, the name of the poster just won't be a link.

Hmm, let's hope this thing works... :)
