There is now a limit of 10 stars per server/ID combination per week for the lottery.
This change actually comes at the request of one of (the?) most active multi-voters. I happened to agree with the proposal. There's not much point to having more than 10 stars on a bot and I think the small advantages of having that many stars on one bot (extra stash space, higher status rank) are outweighed by the advantages other players could get with more stars. Note that the restriction does not apply to individual players, but rather server/ID combinations. So multi-voters, feel free to continue to multi-vote, but spread your tickets among different bots for a better chance at winning more stars. |
